A new deck and moveable / occupiable bridge serve as a light handed and minimal intervention that floats instead of occupies, while allowing for 360 degrees views of the castle with increased connection to the site, and all the amenities a visitor could need.

The new bridge moves, echoing the draw bridges of history, not in an upward movement of enclosure but a constant meander of connection. Its form allows for new connections turning the castle’s north façade into a second frontage.
